Patton’s Model 2192/USB RasLink Dial-up modem provides a high performance V.92 modem connecting to any Windows or Linux platform using the standard USB interface. The 2192 family of RasLink modems can be used provide access to the corporate LAN/Intranet or to connect to the local ISP for Internet access. The modem supports rate adaptive speeds supporting 56-kbps V.92/V90 full-duplex communications. Full MODEM compliance is supported using all international and Bell standards with additional support provided for Group 3, Class 1 FAX with speeds of up to 14.4 kbps. The modem configuration software is fully AT command set compatible. When the PC is equipped with sound card, telephone answering machine (TAM) support is available through the microphone and speaker interface of the sound card.
