Patton QuikConnect™ Interface Modules work in with Patton QuikConnect baseband modems, fiber modems, and CSU/DSUs to provide an extremely wide array of access and transmission solutions. Each unit in the Model IM Series installs quickly, with no tools-and most require no configuration whatsoever. Just plug one in and go! Individual models are described below:Model IM1/J - Data+Voice Module - Connects QuikConnect products to voice, fax and data hardware
- 3 Ports allow simultaneous transmission of voice, fax and data over a single circuit
- Port 1 (RJ-11) supports G3 fax or PSTN/compressed voice up to 14.4 kbps
- Port 2 (RJ-11) supports PSTN/compressed voice
- Port 3 (D-type) supports synchronous data from 64 to 704 kbps, (depending upon data rates of QuikConnect product)
- Available in FXS (appears as telephone) or FXO (appears as CO) configuration
- Data port is user-configurable for V.35, X.21, V.24/RS-232, RS-530 or RS-485 equipment
Model IM1/I - Ethernet Bridge Module - Supports Point-to-Point Protocol (PPP) RFC 1661 and Bridging Control Protocol, RFC 1638
- Provides MAC level connection between two peered Ethernet LANs
- Operates transparently to higher level protocols, such as TCP/IP, DECnet, NETBIOS and IPX
- No configuration necessary
- Automatically discovers, loads and deletes MAC addresses
- 512K on-board RAM
- Modular 10Base-T connection (RJ-45)

Model IM1/F - 64k/G.703 Module - Connects QuikConnect products to Co-directional 64k/G.703 equipment
- Provides 64k Co-directional interface compliant with the G.703 electrical specs
- Offers a single TX/RX interface with standard RJ-45 connector as specified in TBR 14
- Option to work in 2 timing modes: Clear Channel or octet timing
- Complies with ITU/CCITT G.823 (Control of Jitter)
- Point-to-point distance up to 4,000 feet (1219m) using 24AWG (.5mm) wire
